Honor MagicBook X16: New budget laptop with Intel processor

Honor MagicBook X16

Honor has introduced a new budget laptop MagicBook X16. This is a fairly compact model that is ideal for editing texts and photos and surfing the Internet. Despite the Intel processor, the laptop probably won’t be suitable for demanding workloads.

In particular, it uses an 8-core Intel Core i5-13420 with a maximum clock speed of 4.6 GHz. There is no dedicated GPU.

MagicBook X16 is equipped with a 16-inch screen with a rather modest resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. However, the panel has 100% coverage of the sRGB color space, a maximum brightness of 300 cd/m² and a typical contrast ratio of 1000:1.

Other specifications of the new product include 16 GB of RAM, a 512 GB solid-state drive, a front-facing camera with a 720p resolution, two speakers and two microphones. The laptop supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, as well as multiple USB ports and a USB Type-C interface with full functionality. There are also HDMI and standard jack.

MagicBook X16 is powered by a 60 Wh battery, which provides up to 11 hours of operation and is fully charged in 1.5 hours. In China, the model is already available for purchase at a price of 485 US dollars.
