Edifier launches the affordable G1500 gaming speakers

Although in the end the most important thing about a technological device is what it can offer in terms of performance, the impact that a good design has on the perception of users cannot be underestimated. For example, the Edifier G1500 is part of a family of loudspeakers that have aesthetics as a primary focus.

Edifier G1500 SE is a 2.0-channel entry-level speaker with 10W power that is designed to be combined with the “gamer” desk you have in your home. From a modern aesthetic, through RGB lighting details on its exterior and the promise of audio equalization designed for the consumption of multimedia entertainment, it is the best you can find in the price range that does not exceed 50 bucks.

A speaker with more style than powerful

Edifier G1500 SE is part of the manufacturer’s Hecate series

As the images show, this duo of speakers has a format with straight lines on its six sides, while those “geometric” details on its exterior are complemented by small red RGB lights on its sides to give a feeling of being against a true next-generation team (and probably better than it really is).

The cabinet promises to be fine-tuned based on Edifier’s 26 years of acoustic experience in the sound equipment industry (we also recently discussed their Edifier WH950NB headphones ), so while its power output is limited to just 10W of For power , a 2.5-inch full-range driver is appreciated, helping to better distribute audio throughout the room.

One of the most relevant elements in the construction of the Edifier G1500 SE is centered on its 10° elevation angle with a design concept specifically for desktop users, helping you eliminate desktop reflection effects for a pure listening experience. .

As a negative point, it should be noted that there is no type of wireless connectivity available, so you will have to resort to the classic 3.5 mm auxiliary input to the PC or other source device, while up with a 1.5-meter cable for its connection to the current instead of having a built-in battery.

In this way, even if you do not have headphones at hand, you can have a good listening sensation when you are playing at maximum intensity. And if you don’t want to play? It is more than ready to demonstrate the sound of movies, dramas or just listening to music in a reliable way.
