Black Shark has launched pre-orders for its new Star Flash Cool & Warm Gaming Mouse – the world’s first computer mouse that both heats and cools your palm. Where competitors have previously offered one of the functions, Black Shark now combines both into one groundbreaking device for gamers who truly take comfort seriously.
Real-time temperature control
The secret behind this unique mouse lies in TempX technology. In heating mode, the mouse can reach temperatures of up to 20°C, perfect for cold winter nights. In cooling mode, a Peltier element and a built-in 4700 rpm fan are activated, cooling the surface to a comfortable 10.3°C.
A Peltier element works like a thermoelectric module – when current passes through it, a temperature difference is created between two semiconductors: one side cools down, while the other heats up.

At its core is a PAW3950 sensor with a polling rate of 8000 Hz and a Star Flash Hi2826 processor, which boasts relatively low latency, a feature appreciated by professional gamers and enthusiasts of casual shooters.
Precision and performance
Under the hood sits a PAW3950 sensor with a polling rate of 8000 Hz, as well as a Star Flash Hi2826 processor that delivers extremely low latency – a must for esports athletes and FPS enthusiasts alike.
A built-in 1000 mAh battery provides up to 100 hours of continuous use, while the Edge LED lighting not only looks cool, but also displays the mouse’s current temperature.
Price and availability
The new Black Shark Star Flash Cool & Warm Gaming Mouse is now available for pre-order for around 900 kr (based on Chinese price of 459 yuan / approx. 65 USD). Delivery is expected later this fall, and the product will be available via Black Shark’s official online store and selected international retailers.
