AMD is refreshing its line of Ryzen Pro 7000 series processors , which are based on the Zen 4 microarchitecture for desktops. This time we will take a look at the 3 SKUs that are added to the AMD Ryzen Pro 7000 Series family, these are: the Ryzen 9 Pro 7945, Ryzen 7 Pro 7745 and Ryzen 5 Pro 7645 . It should be noted that all these chips have a 5nm process node and use the AM5 socket as a platform, which requires DDR5 RAM.

AMD RyzenPro 7000

This family of processors includes support for PCIe Gen5 (GPU and SSD) and technologies that provide for enhanced security, such as AMD Pro Security , AMD Memory Guard and AMD PRO Manageability; something vital when dealing with chips designed for modern business environments. Similarly, they incorporate AMD Ryzen AI technology for greater performance in workloads that involve artificial intelligence. All these processors exhibit a TPD of 65W , as well as a minimum clock rate of 5.1Ghz in Turbo.

AMD Ryzen Pro 7040 series for laptops

Additionally, AMD is also debuting its Ryzen PRO 7000 mobile series for laptops , which includes three HS (35-54W) models and three U (15-28W) variants. The series will be limited to 8 cores and frequencies up to 5.2/5.1 GHz in Turbo. However, only select models will feature Ryzen AI, but AMD did not specify which ones.
