Sonus faber sound system to appear in Maserati Grecale

Sonus faber’s cooperation with Maserati was not limited to the MC20 supercar – the company’s audio system will also appear in the new Maserati Grecale crossover. According to Sonus faber president Jeff Poggi, the system will “build on the amazing success of our award-winning EISA MC20 supercar system.”

“Our team worked with Maserati’s design and development department for three years to fine-tune every aspect of this audio system to truly reproduce Sonus faber’s signature ‘natural sound’,” added Poggi.

Sonus faber has developed two audio options for the new Grecale. The standard configuration, called Premium, will consist of 14 speakers with a total output of 860 watts. The High Premium version is an option and uses 21 speakers with a total output of 1285W. To adjust the sound, a special Sonus faber application has been created, integrated into the car system. The company itself offers two ready-made presets for each version of audio systems – Amati and Guarneri for standard and Reference and Ex3ma for optional.

In both cases, Sonus faber focuses on natural materials. The systems will feature silk dome tweeters and paper cone midrange drivers. For amplification, class D Dual DSP circuits with increased power supplies will be used. And thus, according to the assurances of Sonus faber, it will be possible to obtain a natural sound.
