Samsung Galaxy F62: Smartphone with 7000 mAh battery for $330

The Galaxy F62 is the latest addition to Samsung’s new Galaxy F line of low-cost smartphones with a focus on camera and battery life .

The main feature of the Samsung Galaxy F62 is a record-breaking 7000 mAh battery with support for 25 W fast charging. This is already the second Samsung smartphone with such a battery after the Galaxy M51, released last year.

The hardware base is the 7nm Exynos 9825 (the backbone of the Galaxy Note10 line), running One UI 3.1 with Android 11 out of the box. The screen is a sAMOLED Infinity-O panel with a diagonal of 6.7 inches with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels, in the central upper part of the screen there is a hole for a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The RAM can be 6 or 8 GB, and the built-in flash memory is 128 GB. But there is a microSD slot.

The main quad camera consists of modules with a resolution of 64, 12, 5 and 5 megapixels. Also, the smartphone is equipped with a side fingerprint scanner, NFC and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In other words, with the exception of the processor, the Galaxy F62 is an exact copy of the Galaxy M51 (it is built on Snapdragon 730).

At the same time, the Galaxy F62 stands out against the background of the Galaxy M51 with a different design of the main camera block and a textured surface of the back cover with a two-color gradient overflow. The thickness of the plastic case of the Galaxy F62 is 9.5 mm. There are three body colors to choose from: Laser Green, Laser Blue and Laser Gray.
