Redmi 10 Prime: The lightest smartphone from Xiaomi

Manu Kumar Jain, Managing Director and Global Vice President of Xiaomi India, has posted on his Twitter page a new promotional video for the Redmi 10 Prime smartphone , which is due to be unveiled today, September 3.

The company previously released the Redmi 10 smartphone on the global market, equipped with a MediaTek Helio G88 single-chip system and a 90-Hz screen. In this case, the capacity of the battery is 5000 mA • h. And Redmi 10 Prime will be equipped with a 6000 mAh battery.

This is the lightest Redmi smartphone with a battery of this capacity. Redmi 10 Prime will be almost a complete copy of Redmi 10 for the Indian market with only two differences: the new smartphone will have an enlarged battery, but there will be no NFC module for contactless payments.

The phone will be equipped with a 6.5-inch FullHD + display with adaptive refresh rates (45, 60 and 90 Hz). In the central upper part of the display there is a hole for the front camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels. The main camera has a main image sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels, as well as additional modules with a resolution of 8, 2 and 2 megapixels. The phone runs Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top.
