PIXEL 5A: First images of googles upcoming smartphone

Insider Steve Hemmerstoffer shared the first renderings of the Google Pixel 5a and some of its possible specs. As you can see for yourself, the Pixel 5a looks exactly like the Pixel 4a 5G and thus the Pixel 5.

Pixel 5a will once again be in a plastic case. The device will measure 156.2 x 73.2 x 8.8mm (9.4mm with camera overhang), which is closer to the dimensions of the Pixel 4a 5G (153.9 x 74 x 8.2mm). The display will be flat, with a 6.2-inch diagonal (OLED) and a cutout for the front camera. The display will operate at 60 Hz. This can be explained by an attempt to reduce the price and at the same time to separate the “budget” and “flagship” line.

But there will be two cameras: regular and wide-angle lenses, hidden together with the flash in a square module. According to Steve, Google may use the same lenses again as in previous models.

Finally, the Pixel 5a is expected to retain the 3.5mm audio jack as well as stereo speakers. Details about the chip, battery capacity, and launch date are still under wraps. But, based on the start of sales of the previous budget model Pixel, we are waiting for the 5a towards the end of spring.
