Personal Cloud T2: Your own personal Cloud from Lenovo

Lenovo has announced the appearance on sale in May of device the Personal Cloud T2 – server NAS for home use. The novelty allows the installation of up to two drives of the form factor 3.5 – 2.5 inches, equipped with a SATA 3.0 interface .

When installing drives with a maximum supported capacity of 18 TB, the total storage capacity will be an impressive 36 TB. If the safety of data is of paramount importance to you, then there is the possibility to organize a RAID 1 array (mirror).

Lenovo Personal Cloud T2 NAS Server

The novelty is based on the Realtek RTD1296 processor with four ARM Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.4 GHz, equipped with 2 GB of RAM and an 8 GB eMMC 5.1 drive . The switching server arsenal includes a Gigabit port Ethernet ports and two USB for connecting external drives or printer – USB 3.0 the Type A and USB 3.0 the Type the C . A low-speed fan with low noise level is used to cool the server.

The Lenovo Personal Cloud T2 NAS is expected to ship on May 10 at a suggested price of 999 yuan for a device without disks.
