OnePlus Ace Unveiled: 150W charging with 50% charge in 5 minutes

ONEPLUS ACE UNVEILED WITH 150W CHARGING - 50% CHARGE IN 5 MINUTES

OnePlus has announced the OnePlus Ace smartphone in China. It is a continuation of the OPPO Reno Ace line of smartphones, which combine premium design and powerful enough equipment at an affordable price. The design of the device may seem familiar. This is true, since the OnePlus Ace is actually the same Realme GT Neo 3, only in a different wrapper.

OnePlus Ace is built on the Dimensity 8100 Max chipset, which received minor modifications compared to the base version. The manufacturer did not specify what kind of improvements the processor differs, with the exception of advanced artificial intelligence capabilities. The main feature of OnePlus Ace is support for 150W SuperVOOC ultra-fast wired charging. According to the company, the smartphone can be charged up to 50% in just 5 minutes. At the same time, OnePlus has provided measures to protect the battery, which regulate its heating and reduce wear and tear. The machine has a special “supercystaline” graphite sheet to improve heat dissipation. The company claims that the battery retains up to 80% of its capacity after 1600 full charge cycles.

In addition to supporting SuperVOOC 150W ultra-fast charging, the smartphone provides protection against overheating and battery wear.

Visually, the OnePlus Ace is quite an interesting device. The back of the smartphone is divided in half, one half has a textured design. On the front there is a round hole for the front camera in the center – a first for the brand, since in other devices the hole was located in the corner. Also missing is the physical button that turns on Do Not Disturb, which remains an integral part of OnePlus flagships.
