ASUS seems to have taken inspiration from Apple last year with the iPhone 12 mini and also decided to introduce a compact premium smartphone. According to DigiTimes , one of the priorities of the company’s mobile division will be ASUS ZenFone Mini (possibly ZenFone 8 Mini).
Unfortunately, there are no technical details about this device yet. It’s hard to even guess what the screen diagonal will be. After all, for example, despite the wave of hype that was caused by the release of the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 mini, the sales of this model were not quite as expected by Apple. Therefore, the most optimal display size seems to be 5.8 – 6 inches.
The approximate date of the ZenFone Mini’s announcement has not yet been announced. But DigiTimes claims that the gaming flagship ROG Phone 5 will be presented this spring, most likely in March. The smartphone can get not only top-end hardware, but also, in particular, a matrix back panel for illumination Aura Lightning.
