Asus has launched two new phones under its Republic of Gamers banner, we’re talking about the ASUS ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate , a pair of handsets that ooze power and are armed to the teeth with gaming features.

We can start by saying that these terminals have a lot in common, starting with an aggressive design that boasts RGB lighting on the back and ultrasonic buttons that act as triggers. These triggers support various gestures, including features like Dual Action, Press and Lift, and Gyroscope Aiming.
Both boast a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a FullHD+ resolution of 2,440 x 1,080 pixels , not to mention a 165Hz refresh rate and a 720Hz touch sampling rate. As if that were not enough, they have Gorilla Glass Victus protection and support the HDR10 + standard.
The sound is not far behind the visual experience; not in vain Asus has equipped these terminals with dual symmetrical speakers with audio optimized by Dirac.
Moving on to the hardware section, some top-of-the-line specifications await us, starting with the Dimensity 9000+ chip, which in the case of the standard Asus ROG Phone 6D is accompanied by 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For its part, the battery has a capacity of 6,000mAh and supports fast charging of 65 watts.
When it comes to OS, Android 12 is the one to power the device. Also worth mentioning is the presence of 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, GPS and NFC on the wireless front.
With that said, the ROG Phone 6D series is equipped with a triple-camera system that includes a 50MP Sony® IMX766 wide-angle main camera in the company of a 13MP wide-angle and a 5MP macro camera. For its part, the selfie camera outlines a 12MP sensor.

The Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate has a lot in common with the standard version, including the display, processor, battery, and cameras. Where we will find the first advantage it has over its younger brother is in the memory section. In this sense, it has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage , which is a considerable increase.
However, the main difference lies in the cooling system, because although both have a vapor chamber, the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate features the completely new AeroActive Portal design . Under this new scheme heat dissipation fins are added to the ultra-thin vapor chamber and a heat dissipation “door”.
