Panasonic TX-49EX600E Review • 4K TV that looks awesome!

TX-49EX600E

Everyone has probably heard of Panasonic. They are one of the most powerful electronics brands in the world and in the field of televisions they show a pretty good offer. Unfortunately, they have overshadowed the other three major Asian manufacturers (LG, Samsung and Sony), but still retain a fairly easy place in the top five global sales. That’s because they also have very good and competitive models, some that really rise above the competition, especially on the cheap and medium price segments. Panasonic TX-49EX600E is one of the most interesting models on the market, both in terms of price and what it offers, in terms of design and technology.

Nowadays, a TV needs to be thin and big enough to draw attention in a positive way to it. But the Panasonic TX-49EX600E does more than that, coming with an impeccable design. It benefits from a thin metal frame, elegant and very well integrated in the case that also enjoys the same characteristics.

The stand is also one of the pieces of resistance. This is a stable one, but it is interesting that it can also move. Thus, it can be placed in the middle of the screen, or in each part of it (it consists of two movable legs).

And for a 123 cm TV, this was all the more necessary if we sit and think that a larger diagonal poses some more stability difficulties. In itself, 123 cm is not so much, the TV being a suitable one for both the bedroom and the living room, but it is not small, so the construction of the model is really welcome.

The technologies used are not bad at all

The TV, being of medium quality, has a series of functions and technologies that present it as a reliable alternative to all models from companies with a little more recognition (if you can say that, because this brand is also one with really great). Panasonic TX-49EX600E stands out, first of all, with its 4k UHD resolution, an important point of attraction for any modern device.

It also has HDR support. Therefore, both the image (its clarity) and the colors and contrast are presented at a very high level. Panasonic also has models with OLED screen produced by LG, but this time it is not the case. But even without it, the image is much above average, not perfect (there are moments when the contrast is not so spectacular), but not with problems that are easy to meet and difficult to solve.

In terms of sound, the Panasonic TX-49EX600E works with two 10 W speakers each. It’s a standard set-up for its diagonal and in terms of power, I think it’s more than enough.

But I met quite a few TVs that had a superior sound quality, but this one is not bad either. If you mount an audio system, the sound will become even louder and if you are not extremely pretentious, you will not notice that the playback is not as clear and varied as it could be.

In the end, you can’t overlook the smart system either. It is also an important attraction for any TV and even if the company does not use a super famous operating system, there are no problems.

My home screen 2.0 is a decent system, well developed and with many applications. If you want to find 4k content online, then you have all the chances to do it quickly and without interruptions thanks to the quite powerful processor and the intuitive and tender system.

Another source of maximum quality content can be a stick or a Blu-Ray player, for movies, and a game console. All this is easily connected via USB or HDMI and there is room for peripherals.

Conclusion

Panasonic TX-49EX600E is a TV that looks great. It has a decent price for what it offers (if you find it low it is really spectacular), and the big advantage is the way it looks. Moreover, the operation is not bad at all. In fact, you can’t easily find things to blame, so it easily turns into one of the best Panasonic products.
