TCL announces expandable and foldable screens, but also TVs with Google

TCL announces at CES 2021, the launch of two products that want to transform the portable devices market: the 17-inch Printing OLED Scrolling Display and the 6.7-inch AMOLED Rollable Display. TCL also announced new TVs with Google.

Printing OLED Scrolling Display

The flexible 17-inch screen, Printing OLED Scrolling Display, with a thickness of only 0.18 mm is portable, has a very good scrolling capacity and easily fits anywhere, like a moving image board. At the same time, it is very important to know that an OLED display works without backlight, so it can display an extremely good contrast and can be thinner and lighter.

Printing OLED Scrolling Display is embedded with state-of-the-art inkjet printing technology from TCL CSOT and incorporates a wide range of colors that significantly improves the quality of the viewing screen.

Moreover, its phosphorescent RGB OLED devices are produced using high-precision inkjet printing technology without the need for a metal frame. As a result, the price is 20% lower than that of traditional screen technologies, making it much more convenient for both large screens and mass production.

AMOLED Rollable Display

The 6.7-inch portable AMOLED Rollable Display redefines the standard shape of the smartphone . Unusually, with this help, the classic screen of the phone can be expanded from 6.7 inches to 7.8 inches with a single push of a button. Thus, the smartphone is transformed into a tablet , offering in a single product with multiple uses, a completely new user experience through the adaptable and easy to use interface.

At the same time, the device is not thicker than 10 mm, which makes it much thinner than a foldable smartphone. In addition, thanks to the improved design of the flexible screen integrated in the smartphone, its corrugation and sliding radius can reach the size of 3 mm through the specially built sliding mechanism, a key element of the product.

The life of the slider is about 100,000 uses. The software interface can be adapted according to the user’s needs, being adjustable either for one-handed use or for multi-tasking.

TCL TVs with Google

TCL announced for the first time at the Consumer Electronic Show 2021 convention the launch this year of a series of TCL-Google TVs for TCL customers, starting with those in the United States and continuing, according to the company’s development strategy, with other countries.

TCL -Google TVs will combine TCL’s state-of-the-art display technologies, such as Mini-LED, 8K and QLED, with Google’s captivating entertainment offering to give users easier and faster access to their favorite content than ever before. Exceptionally high quality images rendered via the latest TCL screens.

TCL-Google TVs bring together movies, series, live TV, and a variety of content options from a variety of apps and subscriptions that they uniquely organize for each user. Moreover, they offer personalized recommendations so that TCL customers can discover new things to watch. In addition, users can use the built-in voice command option in TCL’s generously sized screens to ask Google to search for and find movies and series, answer questions, and control everyday smart devices.
