OneXPlayer, which has been producing portable consoles for many years, introduced a product that is not typical for its portfolio – the OneXGPU external video card.

Features

To be fair, it should be noted that OneXPlayer does not develop or produce video cards, and their new product is a docking station in which the AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT graphics accelerator is located. It is based on the Navi 33 GPU and runs at 2.3 GHz in Boost mode. The amount of GDDR6 video memory with a speed of 18 GHz, a bandwidth of 288 GB / s and a 128-bit bus is 8 GB. The power consumption of the video card is 120 W, and in FP16 operations its performance reaches 42.8 TFLOPS. The Radeon RX 7600M XT is comparable to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 when ray tracing is not enabled. In general, this is enough to get a comfortable gaming experience in 1080p resolution.

Connecting

To connect OneXGPU to a portable console or, for example, to a laptop, you can use USB Type-C and USB Type-A connectors. There is also an Ethernet connector. There is a bright backlight on the back side.

Price

The cost of OneXPlayer’s external dock has not yet been announced, but don’t expect a price tag of less than $700. This is the figure that the developers estimated for their other similar product – GPD G1.
