Oakley Metalink RX – Glasses that are comfortable with headphones

The video game industry is actively fighting to ensure that headphones are comfortable in any situation: streamers are releasing hooded sweatshirts that you can pull on full-size headsets, and Oakley has partnered with Turtle Beach to present a limited collection of glasses that do not interfere with wearing headphones.

Eyeglass wearers sometimes experience some discomfort when using full-size or on-ear headphones – they press on the temples, the glasses rub their ears or move because of this, and the cups may not fit well.

Turtle Beach, with which Oakley launched this collection, uses ProSpecs technology in its gaming headsets, according to which the ear cushions are filled with two layers of memory foam: the softer layer is located in the part of the ear cushions where they usually touch the glasses – due to this design, the headphones are smaller press on the temples.

Now Oakley, as part of the collaboration, has introduced the Metalink RX glasses with thin stainless steel temples, complemented by anti-slip pads. These temples are precisely designed so as not to interfere with over-ear headphones.

Moreover, the model is equipped with special Prizm Gaming Lenses, which reduce eye fatigue during long gaming marathons (or just long work in front of the monitor / TV).

The cost of the Oakley Metalink RX glasses with non-diopter lenses was $ 219. The diopter version will cost at least $ 387.
