Google is testing new YouTube Premium Lite subscription without access to YouTube Music

GOOGLE IS TESTING NEW YOUTUBE PREMIUM LITE SUBSCRIPTION WITHOUT ACCESS TO YOUTUBE MUSIC

Google has begun testing a new tier of subscriptions for its own services. For € 6.99 / month YouTube Premium Lite offers users ad-free video viewing. This option may be suitable for users who do not use the YouTube Music music service. But it should also be borne in mind that Premium Lite is deprived of such options as offline download of videos and video playback in the background.

YouTube Premium Lite is currently being tested in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden. In comparison, YouTube Premium costs € 11.99 / mo in these countries, and YouTube Music Premium costs € 9.99.

There is no information yet on the timing of the launch of YouTube Premium Lite in other countries.
