CineBeam HU810P – LG Releases New WebOS Projector with HDMI 2.1 Support

LG’s new CineBeam HU810P laser projector is designed to provide cinematic viewing experience to users in the comfort of their home. With 4K UHD resolution, it is capable of creating images up to 7.6m diagonal. The dual laser projector features 2,700 lumens of brightness, covering 97% of the DCI-P3 color standard. This reliable and durable light source can last 20,000 hours, the manufacturer says.

Thanks to the new Brightness Optimizer technology that senses the level of ambient light, the projector delivers a vivid and clear image whether you use it in a dedicated movie room or just in your living room. It offers two preset modes, Bright Room and Dark Room, which provide the best viewing experience possible in a given environment. Another cool feature, Adaptive Contrast, automatically adjusts the optimal contrast level on a frame-by-frame basis for improved detail in dark scenes, LG continues.

The other two modes, Real Cinema and TruMotion, provide images as the director intended, adjusting the video rate to the classic 24 frames per second. TruMotion is especially suitable for watching action films, smoothing out dynamic scenes for a realistic rendering. The projector supports HDR10 and HLG formats and also has a dynamic tone mapping function.

For maximum user convenience, the device is capable of operating wirelessly via Bluetooth. The projector is HDMI 2.1 compliant with eARC Enhanced Channel to receive 4K video at 10-bit color with high sound quality. The presence of a 1.6x zoom, as well as the possibility of vertical and horizontal lens shift, gives more freedom in choosing the location of the LG CineBeam HU810P.

The projector is equipped with webOS 5.0 platform, which provides an intuitive interface and easy navigation, as well as quick access to popular video applications such as YouTube. AirPlay 2 and Screen Share compatibility allows users to easily stream content from smartphones to cinematic-sized screens.

Our new CineBeam projector captures both bright and dark scenes beautifully, taking the picture quality and viewing experience to a whole new level
LG said.

The LG CineBeam HU810P will cost $ 2,999 in the US.
