Panasonic SoundSlayer GNW10 gaming neck speaker becomes wireless and louder

Panasonic has made the GNW10 model of its SoundSlayer neck-mounted gaming headset wireless. And also added an AI isolation function for voice communication. Unlike the original 2021 SoundSlayer, the connection cable has been replaced with a small transceiver that connects to a gaming console or PC.

The system uses its own communication protocol at a frequency of 2.4 GHz, and a very acceptable signal delay is promised, up to 20 ms. This is better than Bluetooth capabilities and is essential for first-person shooters. In the new product, artificial intelligence thinks about suppressing background noise and echo during voice communication. Probably, partly all this led to an increase in dimensions by one and a half times. The result, according to Panasonic, is improved bass.

In terms of sound, the new product is more similar to its predecessor – the same four speakers and six sound modes. But the shape of the body, according to the manufacturer, is optimized to relieve the trapezius muscles, which are usually affected by such a design. The wireless SoundSlayer will be available in late October.

In the US, the price of the gaming neck-mounted speaker Panasonic SoundSlayer GNW10 will be $300.
