Google has added a new private Guest Mode to smart speakers powered by Google Assistant.
In incognito mode, which is activated through a special voice command “Okay, Google, turn on guest mode”, the smart speaker will stop remembering the requests and commands from the user. According to Google, this will be useful to the owner, including in situations when guests come and start “talking” to the speaker. Thus, a smart assistant will not remember unnecessary, unnecessary information.
However, it should be noted that it will not work to completely transfer the smart column to “one hundred percent incognito”: queries will be able to remember connected services, including Google Maps and other similar linked platforms.
