Ocean Way Sausalito Mk II: Second generation of compact American acoustics

Ocean Way Sausalito Mk II
Ocean Way Sausalito Mk II

The high-frequency range is entrusted to a 1-inch soft dome tweeter with excellent linearity. Mid frequencies are processed by an 8-inch speaker with an aluminum cone. The bass foundation is provided by a 12″ aluminum cone woofer. According to the developers, when designing the speakers, special attention was paid to the phase consistency of the radiators, which made it possible to create a natural, open, accurate and timbre-adjusted sound picture.

The body of the Ocean Way Sausalito Mk II is made of composite materials and finished with a matte natural walnut veneer. The developers additionally strengthened the internal baffles of the case, increasing its rigidity and, at the same time, reducing the reflection of sound waves from the baffles, which led to effective compensation of low-frequency resonances. The compact, elegant design of the Ocean Way Sausalito Mk II makes it easy to fit speakers into the most sophisticated interiors.
