New Harman Kardon soundbar offers powerful sound and Dolby Atmos support

Harman Kardon introduces the  Citation MultiBeam 1100 Dolby Atmos soundbar with  11  built-in speakers for a total output of  630W . With a length of 1.15 m , it is perfectly sized for a 55-inch TV.

The cost of new items – 800 Euros , which makes it a formidable competitor to the popular analogue  Sonos Arc , which also has 11 speakers and supports  Dolby Atmos . However,  Harman  Kardon  has a couple of advantages.

The first is the ability to pass  4K HDR video through its HDMI input and output  . And secondly, it is more connectivity options. So, both devices support  AiPlay2 , but  the Citation MultiBeam 1100 also offers  Chromecast ,  Alexa Multi-room and  Bluetooth 5.0 technologies .

Of the 11  speakers in the soundbar , 8  are full-range speakers, including 6  facing forward and 2 facing upwards. They are complemented by 3 tweeters – a central one and two side ones located at the corners. As a result, the channel configuration of the  Citation MultiBeam 1100 is 5.1.2 .

If you think that the device lacks low frequencies, it can be supplemented with an external subwoofer, for example,  Citation Sub S priced at 400 Euros .
