Neumann KH 120 II: The second generation of popular active monitors

Neumann has introduced the second generation of the popular KH 120 active monitors, which have been successfully sold since 2010. The novelty received the KH 120 II index and, according to the assurances of the developers, surpasses the first generation speakers in many key parameters.

First of all, the Neumann KH 120 II are capable of developing more sound pressure, reaching 116.8 dB. In addition, the lower limit of the operating range has been reduced to 44 Hz. In the active crossover of the second generation of monitors, Neumann used a new DSP processor, which made it possible to achieve linear phase characteristics and implement the proprietary sound correction system in accordance with the acoustic characteristics of the MA 1 room.

Monitors Neumann KH 120 II are equipped with analog and digital inputs. For professional applications, a version is available with AES67 inputs compatible with standards such as ST 2110, ST 2022-7 and RAVENNA. The KH 120 II is already on sale in Europe. One (!) monitor in the basic version is offered for 899 euros . For the KH 120 II AES67 variant , you will have to pay 1,195 euros .
