Mission LX Connect Wireless Music System: Dual Powered Speakers and Hi-Res Streamer DAC

Mission LX Connect

LX Connect music system has become the first wireless solution such as “all-in-one” in Mission catalog. The system is based on a compact hub streamer and two active speakers based on LX MkII version loudspeakers.

According to the manufacturer, the signal is transmitted to the speakers without compression at a frequency of 5.8 GHz. The acoustics do not need to be connected with cables either to the hub or to each other, but connection to the power supply, as you might guess, is required for all three components.

The LX Connect Hub streamer has analog and digital inputs, including optical, coaxial, HDMI and USB. You can stream music wirelessly to the hub via Bluetooth with aptX support.

The speakers, which can be installed at a maximum distance of 20 m from the streamer, are transmitted in quality up to 32 bit / 192 kHz. The company emphasized that the hub uses an ESS Saber32 ES9018K2M DAC, which is also ready to work with conventional wired headphones.

Among other things, Mission drew attention to the presence of Roon Tested certification – you can play music from Roon servers in high definition.

As for the parameters of the complete active acoustics, the declared power of one speaker was 60 W – each speaker has a 130 mm DiaDrive woofer and a 25 mm tweeter. The acoustics are capable of playing out frequencies in the range from 58 Hz to 20 kHz.

LX Connect will hit the UK market in October for £ 1,000.
