KEF has launched the compact wireless speaker Muo. Designed by Ross Lovegrove, the Muo draws inspiration from the iconic, two-meter-tall, sculptural Muon HiFi speakers and makes a visual statement as striking as its sound. The aluminum enclosure is dustproof and waterproof.

KEF Muo: drivers
A highly efficient, racetrack-shaped driver with long excursion and a large cone surface area was specifically developed for the Muo to reproduce bass frequencies with low distortion and low power consumption. This results in impressive power output and deep, controlled bass, while guaranteeing long playback times.
P-Flex Surround Technology, adopted from KEF’s compact and powerful KC62 and KC92 subwoofers, is integrated into the bass driver’s surround. By resisting the distortion that would otherwise arise from the high internal air pressure of the small enclosure, Muo eliminates distortion and delivers clean bass.
The custom-designed 19mm dome tweeter takes high-frequency refinement to a new level, delivering every musical detail naturally and clearly in any listening environment.
To enhance overall performance, Muo employs the latest Music Integrity Engine (MIE), KEF’s proprietary suite of advanced DSP algorithms developed for the brand’s wider range of wireless hi-fi speakers, including the flagship LS60 Wireless.
