JBL has announced the replenishment of the popular Charge series with the JBL Charge 5 Bluetooth speaker. According to the company, the new product has been improved in all respects – increased dust and water resistance combined with improved JBL sound.
From the hardships of mobile life, the column will be protected by IP67. The Charge 5’s audio signal is received via Bluetooth v5.1, and the JBL PartyBoost feature allows you to pair it with compatible JBL speakers to create powerful mobile audio.
The built-in 7,500 mAh battery will provide the device with 20 hours of music at medium volume and even the ability to charge less powerful mobile gadgets thanks to the USB-Charge Out function. The characteristic case of the Charge 5, cylindrical (or rather barrel-shaped), houses a low-mid-frequency driver, a tweeter and a pair of end-face passive radiators protected by silicone bumpers.
The JBL Charge 5 will be available in six color options in April 2021. In the US, the speaker will cost $ 180.
