Ikea Vappeby received a compact body with a silicone coating. With the help of a fabric strap, the speaker can be hung on a hook in the shower or attached to a backpack and bag.
The speaker is available in black, yellow and red colors. Several speakers can be combined into a stereo pair.

At medium volume, the speaker will work up to 80 hours. It connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth. Moisture and dust protection according to the IP67 standard.
The Vappeby will go on sale in April. It is clear that for 15 bucks you will not get top-end sound, but for music in the shower or at a picnic, it will do.
