The Trio6 ST6 model received the most comprehensive version of proprietary focusing, which operates in three modes. In single-band mode, only the mid frequencies of the monitor are active; in two-way mode, the mids and tweeter are active. Accordingly, all three speakers are used in full-range mode. Switching occurs with one click on the foot switch.

To enhance the signal at low and mid frequencies, the Focal Trio6 uses 100 + 100 W Class G circuits, and the tweeter is driven by a 50 W Class AB amplifier. In addition, the monitors have a switchable automatic standby mode. You can apply a high-pass filter or 160Hz crossover to reduce the effect of console reflections.

In Europe, Focal Trio6 three-way near-field monitors cost €2,600 each.
