Beoconnect Core: Hub to make Bang & Olufsen speakers wireless

Bang & Olufsen has added a new streaming hub, Beoconnect Core , which can make any of the brand’s active systems wireless.

The new product supports a large number of technologies, including Apple AirPlay 2, TIDAL Connect, Spotify Connect, UWB and Google Chromecast . It also reports support for Wi-Fi 2 and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless networks with the LC3plus codec . If desired, the hub can be connected to a local network via an Ethernet cable.

Beoconnect Core can receive 24bit/192kHz and transmit 24bit/48kHz. One of the panels houses USB Type-C , HDMI eARC and Powerlink connectors . All this is complemented by a linear input. The body is made of aluminum and has a matching silver color. Dimensions – 162 x 122 x 45 mm, weight – 750 grams.

You can manage the new hub using a mobile application. The device is priced at 1099 euros.
