VivoWatch 5 AERO: The first bracelet with an ECG sensor on the screen

VIVOWATCH 5 AERO

ASUS introduced the VivoWatch 5 AERO fitness bracelet in China, which, according to it, is the world’s first bracelet with built-in sensors for monitoring heart rate and taking an electrocardiogram. Moreover, a special medical-grade sensitive element is responsible for the ECG. There is also a sensor at the bottom of the device, so data is taken from both sides at once.

The VivoWatch 5 AERO user can easily take an ECG, measure the level of oxygen in the blood and other data by touching the screen with a fingertip. The device can constantly monitor the heart rate, shows the relaxation index, sleep quality and other indicators.

The bracelet is suitable not only for those who monitor their health, but for people leading an active lifestyle. It captures the main types of activity: the number of steps, the distance traveled, the speed and pace of running, and so on. Supports 9 sports modes including swimming, yoga, jogging and walking. Of the additional functions, there is a reminder of taking medications and remote control of the camera on a smartphone.

The autonomy of the bracelet is 3 days with standard use and about 7 days in power saving mode. VivoWatch 5 AERO supports magnetic charging and can withstand water immersion. The new ASUS bracelet is already on sale in China at a price of 840 yuan.
