Garmin Venu 2S: Smartwatch with a 1.3-inch screen and a protected case

Garmin has officially unveiled the new Venu 2S smart watch. The model received a 1.3-inch screen with a resolution of 416 × 416 pixels and a protected case that can withstand immersion under water to a depth of 50 meters.

The watch is able to track changes in heart rate around the clock, as well as analyze the oxygen content in the blood, monitor the quality and duration of sleep, assess the level of stress and breathing intensity.

A GPS / GLONASS satellite receiver, compass, barometric altimeter, gyroscope, accelerometer, thermometer and light sensor are provided. On a single charge, the watch can live up to 11 days. A more compact version of the Venu 2S was also presented, equipped with a 1.1-inch screen with a resolution of 360 × 360 pixels. This watch has an autonomy of up to 10 days.

In both cases, there is fast charging: 10 minutes at the outlet add up to 1 day in smartwatch mode or 1 hour in GPS + music mode.

And yesterday Sony presented “party” wireless speakers with an autonomy of up to 30 hours.
