Garmin presented a new model of children’s smart watch . The device supports LTE, allows you to exchange text and voice messages, and determine the location of the user.
Stay connected for peace of mind
Using Bounce’s built-in GPS and LTE, parents can stay connected and track their child’s location with Bounce location tracking through the Garmin Jr. app. on a compatible parent’s smartphone. There’s no need to switch phone providers—your LTE subscription is managed directly through Garmin. Parents can set specific areas and receive notifications when their child goes beyond the set limits. Kids can also use the “tag” feature to share their current location, which sends a message to the Garmin Jr. on parents’ smartphones. If kids forget, parents can “refresh” their child’s location in the Garmin Jr. app to see their location.
In addition to location tracking, families can communicate with their children through the Garmin Jr. app. Kids can send text and voice messages to the Garmin Jr. app right from their watch. on a compatible smartphone or to other Bounce smartwatches, as long as family administrators have approved the two watches to interact with each other. They can also respond with customized set messages, voice messages, emoticons, or sound reactions to parent-approved contacts and Garmin Jr. family group messages. On school days, parents can turn on School Mode or Do Not Disturb in the Garmin Jr. app to limit distractions and help kids focus while they’re in class.
If a child needs help, parents can rest easy knowing that they and other contacts they’ve approved in the Garmin Jr. app will be notified when their child activates the help feature.

With Garmin Bounce, parents can encourage an active lifestyle from an early age. Health metrics such as sleep, steps and active minutes, as well as fitness activities including walking, running, cycling, swimming and more, can be tracked and viewed in the Garmin Jr. app. Parents can also send messages to remind their children about homework and other responsibilities. These friendly reminders can be set to repeat weekly or daily. To help kids manage their time better, Bounce has a stopwatch, alarm and timer right on their wrist so they know when it’s time to do homework or when it’s time to get ready for soccer practice.
