The Fossil Gen 5 smartwatch came out quite a long time ago, in 2019, the time for the release of the new generation model has long come. And now it’s finally revealed when the Fossil Gen 6 will debut . This will happen on August 30th. But the new product is likely to go on sale a little later.
Fossil Gen 6 will be presented in two formats – 42 and 44 mm. The hardware platform will be SoC Snapdragon 4100+, software – Google Wear. Also, the watch is assigned an OLED screen with a diagonal of 1.28 inches with support for Always-On mode, heart rate and SpO2 sensors, a GPS receiver, water resistance (5ATM).
The battery life is expected to be 24 hours, but that’s when all features are used. And in the power saving mode, the autonomy will clearly be higher. But a fast charging function is promised: from 0 to 80% in 30 minutes. Fossil Gen 6 is expected to cost between 300 and 330 euros.
