Formovie Theater Premium — the flagship ultra-focus projector with sound from Bowers & Wilkins

Formovie has officially introduced its newest product, the Theater Premium, an ultra-short-throw 4K projector aimed at international markets. This state-of-the-art projector is engineered to provide a large, high-quality display for home theater environments, capable of projecting a maximum screen size of 150 inches in impressive 4K resolution.

The Theater Premium represents an enhancement over Formovie’s earlier Theater model, featuring Appotronics’ cutting-edge ALPD 4.0 RGB+ laser technology as its light source. This laser system is designed for longevity, boasting an estimated lifespan of 30,000 hours, which reduces the need for maintenance and replacements. With a brightness output of 2200 ISO lumens and a contrast ratio of 3000:1, the projector delivers vibrant and detailed images, further improved by its 170% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut. Additionally, it supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, providing richer contrast and color depth, making it ideal for a wide range of multimedia applications.

The ultra-short-throw feature enables users to enjoy a full 150-inch diagonal screen by positioning the device just 42 centimeters from the wall, thanks to its 0.21:1 projection ratio. This design is particularly suited for compact home settings, delivering a versatile, cinematic experience without the need for significant alterations to the room layout.

Audio performance is also a vital aspect of the Theater Premium. It incorporates a built-in sound system crafted by the esteemed audio brand Bowers & Wilkins. This system comprises dual 15W speakers that are compatible with both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technologies, offering an immersive surround sound experience. Additionally, the inclusion of a titanium diaphragm tweeter enhances high-frequency audio clarity, ensuring that the sound quality matches the projector’s impressive visual output.
