It seems that Yongnuo Electronic Equipment has banned Canon from producing autofocus RF optics. Although Samyang and others had previously created autofocus lenses for RF-mount, they were advised to stop by appealing to the copyright of the mount, which they did.
However, Yongnuo did release the YN 35 mm F2R DF DSM for RF-mount, which was previously available for other mounts. And this is the second RF lens after the YN85mm F1.8R DF DSM introduced a month ago .
Structurally, in terms of optical design and MTF graphics, it does not differ from the versions released for other mounts, which we have already written about .

Interestingly, the YONGNUO Electronic Equipment website sells the lens for $403 (but is marked as “sold out”), but B&H is accepting pre-orders for $375. Most likely, after some time the price of the lens will drop to $280–300, and then perhaps it will be a more attractive purchase, considering that the native and somewhat more advanced Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 IS STM Macro is now selling for $500.
