Xiaomi is preparing to introduce a new sub-flagship with an advanced camera – Xiaomi 13T Pro. By the way, the previous generation model – Xiaomi 12T Pro had a 200 megapixel camera.

The new smartphone, as follows from the Geekbench test database, will receive a SoC Dimensity 9200+ mobile processor. This chip has the highest performance and allows you to process large amounts of data (for example, from cameras with a high sensor resolution).

The MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ is made using a 4nm process technology and has eight cores for various purposes: one Cortex-X3 core with a frequency of 3050 MHz, three Cortex-A715 cores with a frequency of 2850 MHz and four Cortex-A510 cores with a frequency of 1800 MHz.

In the AnTuTu 9 benchmark, the chip scores 1.1 million points, which is quite a high figure. At the same time, the test device, “lit up” in the database, had 16 GB of RAM. In addition to this configuration, a variant of the Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphone with 12 GB of RAM will also be available.

The source reports that this smartphone, due to the use of an ultra-high-performance processor, will be able to compete in power and energy efficiency with the flagship devices of the current generation: Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Oppo Find X6 Pro ( sample shots ), new items from Tecno and other devices. This will provide a serious advantage to the new product from Xiaomi.

However, there is a downside. Some sources report that the cost of the Xiaomi 13T Pro device will be high. The figure is called 930 euros. That is, from the segment of the budget “sub-flagship” the new model is moving into a full-fledged flagship. At least for the price.

The source says that the smartphone will be equipped with a Leica camera – cooperation between the two companies continues. Detailed camera specifications of the Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphone have not yet been disclosed. This information will be published later.

Some foreign media, however, have reported other features of the Xiaomi 13T Pro. The smartphone will receive 120-watt charging, an AMOLED display with an advanced refresh rate of 144 Hz. The battery of the smartphone will have a capacity of 5000 mAh.

The standard version of Xiaomi 13T, as well as the advanced version – Xiaomi 13T Pro will receive a proprietary MIUI 14 shell. Chargers will be included in the package.

Previously, the first image of the Google Pixel 8 Pro was published. It can be seen that the device will receive three cameras in the main unit. At the same time, the external design itself quite accurately coincides with  previously published  renders of the smartphone. The temperature detection module is also visible, which is located under the flash.

The main camera of the smartphone will have a rather large matrix Samsung ISOCELL GN2 (optical format 1/1.12 inches) with a resolution of 50 megapixels. At the same time, the specifications of the modules of the main camera unit (from previous reports about the smartphone) differ from what is reported at the moment. The source reported that the Google Pixel 8 Pro will receive a 48-megapixel periscope telemodule – ISOCELL GM5. It will provide a fivefold optical zoom.
