Canon has announced the sales 4K-Camcorder XA45 in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA region). The new camcorder will meet the growing demand for 4K content in areas such as corporate and educational video, religious filming, and independent documentary and feature films. With a 20x optical zoom and 1 / 2.3-inch CMOS sensor, this professional camcorder can shoot 4K UHD or Full HD movies in XF AVC or MP4 format , unlocking a wide range of creative possibilities. Model XA45 replaces chamber XA40released in 2019. The new model features a 3G-SDI output that enables connectivity to standard broadcast equipment, including live encoders, reflecting the growing need for professional IP connectivity.
Compactness and performance
The Canon XA45 is a very compact camcorder weighing about 730g (body only). Even so, with a 1 / 2.3-inch CMOS sensor and DIGIC DV6 image processor, it delivers crisp and stunning 4K UHD and Full HD oversampling video to meet the growing demand for quality content.
Unlike the XA15 and XA11, the new camera supports the professional XF-AVC recording format , enriching the workflow with additional metadata that enhances post-production capabilities.
