AngelBird Introduces $500 CFexpress A 1TB Card (for Sony)

Angelbird Technologies GmbH , which claims to be an Austrian developer and manufacturer, has unveiled a 1TB CFexpress Type A memory card for use with Sony Alpha and FX cameras at NAB’2023. At $500, it could be a pretty interesting purchase for those who are into serious video production.

The AngelBird CFexpress A 1TB card enables high-speed continuous shooting, and most importantly, high-bitrate RAW video recording up to 8K.
Proprietary Angelbird Stable Stream™ technology provides a stable and continuous write speed of 650 MB / s, and at a maximum of 730 MB / s.

The card supports all available features and settings for a range of Sony cameras, including the Sony α1, Sony α7 IV, Sony α7S III, Sony FX3 and Sony FX6, as well as 16-bit recording.
