Vivo has introduced a new addition to its Y18 smartphone series, which previously included the Y18, Y18i, and Y18e models. The latest model, designated as Y18t, is powered by the Unisoc T612 processor and operates on Funtouch OS 14, based on Android 14.

The Vivo Y18t features specifications that are typical for its category. It is important to note that the target audience for this smartphone generally has modest expectations, primarily requiring a device that can handle everyday tasks. Notable features include a microSD slot for memory expansion up to 1 TB, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a vibrant display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button, and IP54-rated protection against water and dust. However, it does have some drawbacks, such as the absence of NFC and relatively slow charging times, taking approximately 2.5 hours.

The Vivo Y18t should be recognized as a variant rather than an original device. It shares the same specifications as the Y18i or Y03t, with enhancements including improved cameras, a brighter display, Bluetooth 5.2, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Apart from these upgrades, the smartphones are essentially the same.
