A recent leak from the insider Digital Chat Station has disclosed the display and camera specifications for the base model of the smartphone. According to data shared on the social media platform Weibo, the Mate 70 is set to feature significant upgrades in key areas while still retaining some attributes from its predecessor.
The Mate 70 is expected to build upon the Mate 60 in several aspects, with its standout feature being a 50-megapixel 1/1.5-inch sensor equipped with a variable aperture. This innovation will enable users to adjust the light entering the sensor, enhancing their creative control over the depth of field and overall image quality. Additionally, the device is likely to include a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, contributing to a comprehensive triple-camera system.
