SAMSUNG OFFICIALLY UNVEILED THE GALAXY S24

Samsung has officially unveiled its new flagship smartphones Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra, with a special emphasis on Galaxy AI technology. For example, the latest flagships make it very easy and quick to overcome the language barrier – thanks to the proprietary Translator application, you can translate conversations in real time on a split screen. And, importantly, the function works even without a cellular network or Wi-Fi. The company has also integrated a unique “Chat Assistant” into messages and other applications, which will select the tone of communication for a specific situation – a message on social networks or a response to a work colleague.

Even new flagships boast a built-in keyboard assistant that translates messages on the fly into 13 languages, and when connected to the car’s Android Auto system, the smartphone will analyze incoming messages and offer appropriate responses—no need to type them manually. However, the AI functions don’t end with just working with text content, because the Galaxy S24 series smartphones also have the “Circle and Find” function based on Google services – it allows you to circle, highlight and find the right thing on the Internet, getting accurate results search. You can, for example, quickly find a description of a landmark or learn more interesting things about a subject from YouTube Shorts.

In addition, Samsung has developed a special ProVisual algorithm for the Galaxy S24 series, which uses artificial intelligence-based tools to transform the shooting capabilities of the new flagship devices. As a result, photos taken from afar no longer look blurry or pixelated – the Quad Tele system, along with the new 5x optical zoom lens, works together with the 50-megapixel sensor to deliver excellent image quality at 2x, 3x, 5× and 10× (this is implemented due to the new sensor with adaptive pixels). Moreover, smartphones, even at 100x magnification, thanks to the digital zoom upgrade, take extremely clear pictures, and new editing functions allow you to remove unnecessary objects from the frame and much more – we will test all this in detail as part of the review.

Naturally, the flagship series of smartphones received the corresponding hardware – the Galaxy S24 Ultra, for example, is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for Galaxy, which was specially optimized for increased performance and more efficient work with artificial intelligence (for this, the system-on-chip is equipped with an improved neural processor). The smartphone’s display boasts an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz and a brightness of up to 2,600 nits, and the cooling system has a 1.9 times larger vapor chamber, so the smartphone can provide stable performance in games and more. The system-on-chip even supports hardware ray tracing with realistic shadows and reflections.

Also, all smartphones in the series received a more modern design with thin frames, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra became the first smartphone in the Galaxy series to use a titanium frame. According to the manufacturer, it significantly increases the durability of the device, and the much thinner body of the flagship fits even more comfortably in the hand, making it easier to use the smartphone on the go. And, importantly, fans of bright colors will definitely be pleased – the Galaxy S24 series will provide access not only to the standard gray and black color schemes, but also to bright purple and yellow.
