Samsung has revealed which devices will receive galaxy AI features

After the debut of Galaxy AI in the new Galaxy S24 series, the developers stated that other devices would also receive AI functions over time, but without any specifics – the leaks only reported that the Galaxy S22 series would also receive innovations. Now an official comment from a company representative has appeared on this matter (on the Korean official forum) – Galaxy AI will become available to a much larger number of devices than expected, but with restrictions.

According to the latest information, Galaxy AI will be available to flagship models produced in 2022 and 2021 – we are talking about flagships, that is, FE models of smartphones and tablets do not belong here. In addition, there are limitations: gadgets from 2022 will receive Galaxy AI in the form in which AI technologies are available in the Galaxy S23 FE (that is, without the Instant Slow-Mo function), and models from 2021 will only have access to Circle to Search and Generative Edit (probably because these are the only features that run in the cloud and not on the device).

AI functions will appear with the release of One UI 6.1, the update is expected in early May.
