Samsung announced when and which smartphones will receive AI features with the One UI 6.1 update

The update will be released very soon – perhaps the distribution schedule will vary from market to market, but it is unlikely to be significant

It has been known for a long time that artificial intelligence functions under the general marketing name Galaxy AI will migrate from the latest flagship Galaxy S24 to older models – the company even announced specific smartphones and tablets. However, it was unclear when this would happen. Now Samsung has officially revealed the date – the new firmware version with Galaxy AI will begin to be distributed on March 28.

The following devices should receive the One UI 6.1 update with Galaxy AI:

Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra
Galaxy S23 FE
Galaxy Z Fold5
Galaxy Z Flip5
Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra
Galaxy AI features include a Circle to Find option (not really a Samsung exclusive), a real-time translator, a smart photo editor, an in-browser text reteller, and more.
