Xiaomi held a spring presentation where Redmi Note 12 Turbo was introduced, the world’s first smartphone with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, high-quality scaling technology, 12-bit matrix, Hi-Res sound and other chips. But first things first.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo can be considered a collaboration between Redmi and Qualcomm. The phone  is built on the second-generation Snapdragon 7+ chip, which uses a 4-nm process technology – the same as the flagship Snapdragon 8+ model and with the same characteristics. The chipset has already proved itself as a great alternative to the flagship, it provides very high performance and low power consumption. Nevertheless, the manufacturer took care of additional heat dissipation by implementing an efficient cooling system using a vapor chamber here, which made it possible to increase heat dissipation by 35%.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo is ready for almost any game. The smartphone confidently keeps a high frame rate and smoothness, and also ensures that there is no decrease in brightness throughout the entire gameplay. An important role in this is played by the new Rage Engine 2.0, specifically designed to improve performance in games.

The company claims that this is the first smartphone in the history of Redmi with a screen-free design. Thanks to this, its thickness is only 7.9 mm, and the weight is 181 g. The novelty is made in three classic colors: white, blue and black. The most interesting is the white version with a beautiful “frosty” pattern on the back of the device. Separately, it is worth talking about the display. It has a 12-bit OLED matrix with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, supports adaptive HDR, Dolby Vision and 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The frames here are ultra-thin – only 1.42 mm.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo provides high performance at the level of flagship smartphones, and also has an efficient cooling system.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo is equipped with a triple camera with a 64 MP main module with optical stabilization. Its chip is in In-Sensor Zoom digital scaling technology while maintaining high image quality. The company claims that at 2x magnification, photos remain sharp, as if they were taken using optical zoom. The device is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with support for 67-watt charging, which is enough for almost a day and a half of active use. Also worth noting are stereo speakers with Hi-Res sound support.
