Realme Launches the C75 5G in India with Robust Specs and Affordable Pricing

Realme C75 5G Unveiled
Realme C75 5G Unveiled

Realme has officially introduced the Realme C75 5G in India, expanding its lineup of budget-friendly smartphones with 5G capabilities. Though it shares its name and visual design with the previously released Realme C75 LTE, already available in markets like Russia, the Indian 5G variant differs significantly in terms of hardware and performance. These differences make the new Realme C75 5G not just a variant, but a substantially more powerful device.

Realme C75 5G is an inexpensive model with characteristics that are sufficient to use the basic functions of a smartphone.

At first glance, the Realme C75 5G presents itself as a modern, well-equipped device aimed at budget-conscious users who don’t want to compromise on performance or features.

  • Display: The phone features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1604 × 720 pixels (HD+). While the resolution is modest, the 120Hz refresh rate and 625 nits of peak brightness provide a smooth and reasonably bright visual experience, especially for a phone in this price segment.

  • Performance: Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset—an octa-core processor clocked at 2.4 GHz, coupled with the Mali-G57 MP2 GPU. This combination offers a balanced performance for everyday tasks and moderate gaming, while enabling full 5G connectivity.

  • Memory & Storage: The C75 5G comes in two RAM configurations: 4 GB and 6 GB, both paired with 128 GB of internal storage. The storage is expected to be expandable via microSD, a key advantage in this price bracket.

  • Battery Life: Realme has packed the C75 5G with a massive 6000 mAh battery, ensuring extended usage on a single charge. The phone also supports 45W fast wired charging, making it one of the fastest-charging devices in its class. Additionally, the device supports 5W reverse charging, allowing users to charge accessories or other phones in a pinch.

In the camera department, the Realme C75 5G sports a 32 MP main rear sensor accompanied by a secondary auxiliary sensor, likely for depth or AI enhancements. On the front, it houses an 8 MP selfie camera, sufficient for video calls and casual selfies. Realme has also included a suite of AI-based features for photo optimization, which will appeal to social media enthusiasts.

This budget-friendly phone doesn’t skimp on durability or connectivity. It boasts IP64 dust and water resistance along with MIL-STD-810H certification, indicating a level of ruggedness typically reserved for more expensive devices. There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for secure and quick access.

Connectivity features are comprehensive, including:

  • 5G and 4G VoLTE

  • Wi-Fi

  • Bluetooth 5.3

  • GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS

  • USB Type-C port

The Realme C75 5G runs Realme UI 6, built on Android 15, making it one of the first budget smartphones to ship with the latest version of Android. The software is expected to bring improved system efficiency, refined animations, and enhanced privacy controls, along with Realme’s own customizations.

Design, Colors, and Pricing

The phone measures 165.70 × 76.22 × 7.94 mm and weighs 190 grams, maintaining a slim and ergonomic design. It is available in three stylish color options:

  • Gray

  • Pink

  • Dark Green

Realme has competitively priced the phone to appeal to a wide range of users:

  • 4 GB + 128 GB variant: ₹12,999 (approximately $155)

  • 6 GB + 128 GB variant: ₹13,999 (approximately $166)

With the launch of the Realme C75 5G, Realme continues to reinforce its commitment to delivering value-packed smartphones with the latest technology. The combination of a high refresh rate display, massive battery, solid 5G performance, and Android 15 at such an aggressive price point makes this an appealing option for anyone looking to enter the 5G space without spending a fortune.

While the Realme C75 LTE may suit markets with slower 5G rollouts or lower data needs, the Indian version of the C75 5G is clearly designed to meet the demands of a more connected, feature-hungry user base.
