POCO has officially introduced the C71, an ultra-budget smartphone that delivers solid features at an impressively low price. While it doesn’t aim to compete with premium devices, the C71 offers a few standout qualities that make it a strong contender in the entry-level market—particularly for users who value a large, smooth display, long battery life, and up-to-date software.

Display: 6.88-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 720×1640 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 600 nits brightness.

Processor: Powered by the Unisoc T7250 (1.8 GHz), paired with a Mali G52 MP1 GPU.

Memory Options:

  • 4GB RAM with 64GB storage
  • 6GB RAM with 128GB storage

Both variants support microSD expansion.

Cameras:

  • Rear: 32MP main sensor (f/1.8) with an additional support module
  • Front: 8MP selfie camera (f/2.0)
  • Battery: 5200mAh capacity with 15W charging
  • Software: Ships with HyperOS based on Android 15

The POCO C71 will go on sale starting April 8, with pricing set at:

  • $90 USD (approx.) for the 6GB RAM / 128GB storage variant

These prices make the C71 one of the most affordable smartphones on the market with a 120Hz display and such a large battery—ideal for budget-conscious users who still want a smooth and reliable mobile experience.
