INFINIX INTRODUCES 260W WIRED AND 110W WIRELESS SMARTPHONE CHARGERS

Infinix introduced a fast charging technology called All-Round FastCharge. Based on it, two chargers were created: a wired 260 W and a wireless 110 W.

According to the developers, the new solution is able to replenish the battery charge from 0% to 25% in one minute over the wire. The battery can be fully charged in just 8 minutes. If we talk about wireless charging, then for these purposes it will take twice as long – 16 minutes.

Infinix assured that the technology developed outside its walls will allow to fully charge the batteries in just 16 minutes.

Chargers created outside the walls of Infinix did not set a record for power. A little earlier, Redmi boasted of its development with a power of 300 W. However, Infinix claims that their technology in commercial products will become available as early as this year. When the Redmi solution will hit the market is unknown.

Tests of the new chargers showed that the 4000 mAh battery was able to retain 90% of its original capacity after 1000 charge cycles. This result was achieved using a cable of our own design, capable of transmitting a current of 13 A.

For the wireless charger, the company uses custom coils and a docking station with a fan at the base to improve heat dissipation. All-Round FastCharge technology supports reverse charging and is compatible with the Power Delivery 3.0 protocol.
