Apple has released the second developer beta of iOS 16.4, which contains several exciting new features and improvements.
Here’s everything new in iOS 16.4 beta 2:
- Apple Books Page Turning Animation Restoration : With the launch of iOS 16, the traditional page turning animation has disappeared from Apple Books, which has upset some users. In iOS 16.4 Beta 2, this feature reappeared as an option, with three options to choose from: Curl, Side, and None;

- Apple Music Classical: The iOS 16.4 beta contains code confirming that Apple is continuing to work on the Apple Music Classical app and it could be launched soon. To listen to Apple Music Classical, users need to install the standard Apple Music app, most likely it will be included in the subscription;

- Apple Pay in South Korea: An update code confirms that South Korean users will soon be able to add credit and debit cards to the Wallet app for use with Apple Pay, a highly anticipated feature since 2017;
- Apple Care Icons: The Coverage section in Settings > General > About now includes an icon next to each Apple device covered by AppleCare+, making it easier to identify each one;

- Podcast pop-up screen: The Podcasts app in beta 2 has a new splash screen explaining recent changes such as enhanced CarPlay functionality and improved Up Next features;

- Always On Display Settings: The Always On Display section of the Settings app on iPhone 14 Pro models has received a few minor changes. Now the button to disable the Always On Display function is located under the buttons for displaying wallpapers and notifications;

- Games on Apple TV: It looks like Apple is considering adding ads and games to its Apple TV app like Netflix is currently doing, mention of downloading free games found in the code;

- New animation icon for connecting Beats in new colors.
You may not think there are many updates, but a few interesting features can still be added to the release of the official update. Interestingly, Apple Music Classical is on the agenda, although the company has sort of abandoned this application several times.
