Lenovo the IdeaPad 5 Pro and the IdeaPad Pro 5i – based on the latest processors AMD’s (the IdeaPad 5 Pro) and the Intel (5i the IdeaPad Pro). The devices are equipped with displays with an aspect ratio of 16:10. The notebooks are equipped with intelligent cooling mode and artificial intelligence technologies to optimize performance and battery life. Laptops are made in a stylish all-metal case and are available in two sizes – 14 and 16 inches.
With narrower bezels, the screen-to-body area is now 90% for increased comfort when watching videos or doing multiple tasks at the same time. In addition, an increased refresh rate of up to 120Hz produces a smoother picture, while Eye Care technology reduces blue light by cutting out the harmful portion of the spectrum.
Depending on the configuration, you can choose between an integrated or discrete video card ( NVIDIA Mx450 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX ™ 1650 ), as well as a 14-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2.2K (2 240 x 1400) 60Hz or 2.8K (2880 x 1 800) 90Hz. The 16-inch Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro and IdeaPad 5i Pro models are available in 2.5K resolution and brightness up to 350 nits, with 60 or 120 Hz options. All displays provide full sRGB coverage.
The IdeaPad 5 Pro is powered by AMD Ryzen Mobile 5000 Series, while the IdeaPad 5i Pro is powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core ™ i7 processor , with thermal packs up to 45 watts.
Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro and IdeaPad 5i Pro laptops with 14-inch displays can have up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM , while 16-inch models can have up to 32GB. Up to 1TB PCIe M.2 SSD storage with future upgrade options provide ample storage for your files .
Both series notebooks support fast charging technology, which allows you to increase the battery life by two or three hours in just 15 minutes, depending on the configuration of the notebook. Also, the models have an effective cooling system that removes the maximum amount of heat from the processors, preventing the equipment from overheating. The battery capacity is 55.6 Wh for 14 “devices and 75 Wh for 16” models.
Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro and IdeaPad 5i Pro portable laptops are equipped with smart features such as an IR camera with Windows Hello for no-touch sign-in. Using a depth sensor ( ToF ) and Glance by Mirametrix® software , the camera tracks the direction of the gaze and automatically stops video playback if the user leaves the screen, and also implements additional security features such as anti-peeping and automatic locking / unlocking of the device.
Both series of notebooks have a larger trackpad than previous generations and an improved keyboard with backlit soft-touch keys.
Lenovo notebooks of the IdeaPad 5 Pro and IdeaPad 5i Pro series will be available in March 2021 in two stylish shades – light and dark gray.
