The range of Hi-Fi equipment of the Japanese brand has been replenished with the network receiver-streamer R-N2000A and floorstanding speakers NS-2000A. Both new products embody the company’s advanced technologies and embody its True Sound philosophy of authentic sound, but are available at more affordable prices than the 5000 and 3000 series models.
The R-N2000A Network Receiver has special anti-vibration measures. In particular, the power transformer is mounted on a 3 mm thick brass base, the block of storage capacitors, cooling radiators and housing supports are bolted directly to the frame.
The scheme is completely symmetrical and balanced, isolated from the total mass. Power output 2 x 90W into 8 ohms or 2 x 140W into 4 ohms. Acoustic calibration system – proprietary YPAO RSC (Reflected Sound Control). The network platform is also proprietary MusicCast with the ability to play PCM streams up to 24 bit / 192 kHz and DSD 11.2 MHz over the network using DLNA or AirPlay protocols. Network connections – Ethernet and dual-band Wi-Fi.
The DAC is based on the ESS ES9026PRO chip. There is an asynchronous USB interface, coaxial and two optical inputs, as well as HDMI ARC, a subwoofer output.
The floorstanders feature new drivers with Harmonious diaphragms made from Zylon wood-grain material, the same material used on concert grand pianos. They also borrowed and trim black glossy lacquer. 3-way design with a pair of 16 cm woofers, an 8 cm midrange driver and a 30 mm dome tweeter. A special resonator with damping material inside the housings eliminates standing waves.
Prices have not yet been reported, the start of sales is scheduled for autumn this year.
